Description

Two deep drawers give this lateral file cabinet a generous capacity for household paperwork, client folders or years of tax records, all behind a clean, quietly modern front. Its low, wide shape tucks beside a desk or under a window and doubles as a handy surface for a lamp or printer.

One key secures both drawers, so sensitive documents stay private in a shared home. Only one drawer opens at a time, a smart safeguard that keeps the cabinet steady even when fully loaded.

  • Two wide file drawers hold letter, legal, A4 or foolscap hanging folders on an adjustable filing system
  • Both drawers secure with a single integrated lock and key
  • Anti-tip interlock lets only one drawer open at a time for stability and safety

Warranty

Manufacturer warranty

BDI warrants its furniture to the original purchaser against defects in material and workmanship for three years from the date of delivery under residential use, and select chairs for five years. If a covered product, part or component fails under normal use, BDI will replace it with a comparable part or product.

Coverage applies to new pieces bought from an authorized BDI retailer like Seldens that are assembled, used and maintained according to BDI's instruction manual. To start a claim, contact Seldens with your original sales receipt. Natural wood variation, sun fading, normal wear, scratches, pet damage, floor samples, and open-box or as-is items are not covered.

Every piece is backed by its manufacturer's warranty against defects in materials and workmanship. Coverage varies by brand.

Common questions

In-stock pieces ship as soon as they're prepared — usually within a week. Special orders are made to order by the manufacturer, so they take longer; your designer gives you a lead time when you order. Either way, we'll call to schedule your delivery once the piece is in and inspected.

White glove delivery is $299–$599 anywhere in Washington State, based on your ZIP code — we carry it in, set it up in your room, and take all the packaging away. Will Call pickup from our Tacoma warehouse is free. You can check your exact fee in the Shipping tab above.

Our white glove service covers Washington State. For deliveries elsewhere, call us at 253.922.5700 or email hello@seldens.com and we'll let you know what's possible.

Yes. With white glove delivery our team unpacks, inspects, assembles and places each piece in the room you choose, then removes all the packaging. There's nothing left for you to put together.

Many pieces are on display in our Tacoma, Bellevue and Olympia showrooms — check the availability shown on this page, or call ahead and we'll confirm. You're welcome to sit, feel the materials, and work with a designer on fabric, finish and configuration.

Yes — samples are available at all three showrooms, and we can mail swatches for most upholstered pieces. Ask your designer or email hello@seldens.com with the piece you're considering.
