For Bethlyn, design is “like reading a good book — it reveals itself in the end!” With 25 years of experience in the industry and an associate of applied science in Interior Design, Bethlyn is a true pro when it comes to helping her clients discover and write their individual style stories. 

“The first thing I like to do with a client is walk through the store and see what moves them, see what they notice and what feels comfortable,” she says. “Home furnishing purchases are very personal, so the better I’m able to get to know my clients, the easier and more fun the process is.” 

Bethlyn likens taking on a new project with her clients to teaming up on a jigsaw puzzle. The colors, the textures, the pieces they’ll choose together and the particular constraints of a space — all of these factors play an important role in the puzzle, and the puzzle can only be solved through collaboration and teamwork.

She says the satisfaction of completing a space together feels just like finishing a puzzle, too. “I love, love, love to see my clients grinning ear to ear when their new furniture is in place.”

In her free time, Bethlyn has fun teaching her Australian shepherd new tricks. And true to her wanderlust nature, she loves getting out into the natural world, traveling and even just hearing travel stories from friends, colleagues and clients.
