Thoughtful design begins with listening. Sonia Chandwaney takes the time to understand how her clients want to live and what matters most in their homes, drawing on more than 16 years of experience helping people make confident, informed choices. Her approach is rooted in the belief that “aesthetic beauty lifts the spirit and is an important way we experience our homes.” Just as important is creating a space that supports each client’s comfort, daily routines, and the way they experience light, texture, and sound. 

Sonia is inspired by the many layers that come together in great design, from architecture, history, and craftsmanship to ergonomics, materials, light, and comfort. She finds inspiration everywhere—nature, music, travel, fashion, art, even a memorable menu or photograph—but her greatest source is always the client and how they want to experience their home.

Outside of Seldens, Sonia can often be found riding her bike, visiting a museum, spending time in the kitchen or garden, or settling in with a good book.
