Today's reclining sofas look like regular sofas until you want them not to. Seldens carries reclining sofas and loveseats from Flexsteel, Stressless, Northport, Hooker Furniture and American Leather, in manual and power models for the living room or media room.

What the Motion Actually Feels Like

Reclining mechanisms vary far more than photos suggest. Some move the whole seat, while others raise a footrest. Some lock at set positions, and others stop anywhere. The only way to judge is to sit and try each position, including fully upright, which is where you will sit most.

Power, Heat and Extras

Power models add adjustable headrests and lumbar support, and some include USB ports or lighting. Power cords and battery packs are worth planning for before delivery. For a more traditional silhouette, see our sofas, or look at the matching recliners and leather furniture.
