Description

The Doran 2-piece brings the same sloped arm profile and considered proportions of the full Doran collection to a compact L-shaped configuration. Boris Pumice fabric is a 76% polyester and acrylic blend with a structured, slightly textured surface that lands in a warm gray-beige territory, a tone that reads neutrally in most rooms without ever feeling anonymous. The sofa component at 70 inches and the chaise extending 64 inches deep create a layout that delivers genuine lounging coverage without the floor commitment of a full-scale sectional.

Loose cushions in a choice of foam, down, or Trillium fill keep maintenance simple and allow the comfort profile to be adjusted to personal preference. High and low leg options are available to align the seat height with other pieces in the room, and advanced unidirectional suspension and the quality construction found across the Doran family support a piece that is sized for flexibility but built for longevity.

About the brand

Custom furniture handcrafted in Dallas, Texas since 1990

Founded by engineers in 1990, American Leather was built on a simple idea: custom furniture shouldn't take months. Today hundreds of craftspeople build every piece to order in a 350,000-square-foot factory in Dallas, Texas, with more than 400 fabrics and leathers and hundreds of configurations to choose from.

It's the maker behind the Comfort Sleeper, the sleeper sofa with no bars and no springs, just a 5-inch plush foam mattress, and the Re-Invented Recliner, which hides its motion inside a clean, modern silhouette. As a founding member of the Sustainable Furniture Council, American Leather builds frames from sustainably harvested wood, uses water-based pigments on its leathers, and since 2014 has used only foam, leather and fabric free from fire retardants.

Warranty

Manufacturer warranty

American Leather backs the frame and suspension of its furniture with a limited lifetime warranty, and warrants the rest of each piece to be free of defects in workmanship and materials for five years from the date of purchase.

For questions or service, contact Seldens as your American Leather retailer and we will work with American Leather to resolve it quickly. You can also register your piece's warranty directly with American Leather.

Every piece is backed by its manufacturer's warranty against defects in materials and workmanship. Coverage varies by brand.

Common questions

In-stock pieces ship as soon as they're prepared — usually within a week. Special orders are made to order by the manufacturer, so they take longer; your designer gives you a lead time when you order. Either way, we'll call to schedule your delivery once the piece is in and inspected.

White glove delivery is $299–$599 anywhere in Washington State, based on your ZIP code — we carry it in, set it up in your room, and take all the packaging away. Will Call pickup from our Tacoma warehouse is free. You can check your exact fee in the Shipping tab above.

Our white glove service covers Washington State. For deliveries elsewhere, call us at 253.922.5700 or email hello@seldens.com and we'll let you know what's possible.

Yes. With white glove delivery our team unpacks, inspects, assembles and places each piece in the room you choose, then removes all the packaging. There's nothing left for you to put together.

Many pieces are on display in our Tacoma, Bellevue and Olympia showrooms — check the availability shown on this page, or call ahead and we'll confirm. You're welcome to sit, feel the materials, and work with a designer on fabric, finish and configuration.

Yes — samples are available at all three showrooms, and we can mail swatches for most upholstered pieces. Ask your designer or email hello@seldens.com with the piece you're considering.
