Small Oak Pieces, Full Size Construction

Quartersawn white oak is cut across the growth rings, which exposes the ray flecking Stickley has been known for since the Arts and Crafts era and makes a board far more stable against seasonal movement than plainsawn stock. On a small piece you notice all of it, because your eye is closer to the wood. Stickley builds these the same way it builds full size case goods, which is why something this compact still has real weight when you pick it up and move it.

Where a Little Treasures Piece Lands

These solve the gaps standard furniture misses. A small bookcase fits the wall beside a doorway where a full case will not go. A drink table slides in next to a chair with no room for an end table. A plant stand adds height in a corner without filling it. Four of the fourteen are bookcases sized for a home office or a hallway, and the copper top drink table is the piece people buy once and then buy again for another room.
