Description

This recliner carries the look of a tailored club chair, with clean track arms and a smooth finished back that holds up when it floats out in the room. Its moderate scale settles easily beside a sofa, into a reading nook, or angled toward a window.

Press a button and it eases into a weightless recline, with the headrest and lumbar each adjusting on their own so your neck and lower back get the support they need. Soft, cloudlike cushioning and Italian leather in warm cortado brown or lighter desert tan finish the relaxed, inviting feel.

Flexsteel has been crafting upholstered furniture since 1893, when it began as the Rolph & Ball Furniture Company. Based in Dubuque, Iowa, it now builds sofas, sectionals, recliners and furniture for every room, sold through more than 1,300 retailers nationwide, with each piece hand-crafted using refined processes, patented technology and well-sourced materials.

At the heart of its upholstered seating is the patented Blue Steel Spring, the steel ribbon spring system Flexsteel has used for more than 100 years and named itself after. Unlike sinuous wire springs it never needs retying, it is powder-coated in a signature blue you can see under every frame, and it has carried a lifetime guarantee since the 1930s.

Warranty

Manufacturer warranty

Flexsteel's limited warranty covers upholstered furniture for the original purchaser under normal indoor residential use. Blue Steel Springs, wood frames, reclining mechanisms, seat cushion foam and feathers are covered for life; electrical and mechanical components, sleeper mechanisms and sleeper mattresses for five years; and finished wood, plastic and metal parts, battery packs, filling, upholstery materials, and heat and massage components for one year.

On Flexsteel bedroom, dining, home office and occasional furniture, drawer glides are covered for life and everything else for one year. Coverage begins on the date of purchase from an authorized retailer like Seldens, so contact us for warranty service. Wear and tear, pets, sunlight, excessive soiling, accidents, and rental or commercial use are not covered.

Every piece is backed by its manufacturer's warranty against defects in materials and workmanship. Coverage varies by brand.

Common questions

In-stock pieces ship as soon as they're prepared — usually within a week. Special orders are made to order by the manufacturer, so they take longer; your designer gives you a lead time when you order. Either way, we'll call to schedule your delivery once the piece is in and inspected.

White glove delivery is $299–$599 anywhere in Washington State, based on your ZIP code — we carry it in, set it up in your room, and take all the packaging away. Will Call pickup from our Tacoma warehouse is free. You can check your exact fee in the Shipping tab above.

Our white glove service covers Washington State. For deliveries elsewhere, call us at 253.922.5700 or email hello@seldens.com and we'll let you know what's possible.

Yes. With white glove delivery our team unpacks, inspects, assembles and places each piece in the room you choose, then removes all the packaging. There's nothing left for you to put together.

Many pieces are on display in our Tacoma, Bellevue and Olympia showrooms — check the availability shown on this page, or call ahead and we'll confirm. You're welcome to sit, feel the materials, and work with a designer on fabric, finish and configuration.

Yes — samples are available at all three showrooms, and we can mail swatches for most upholstered pieces. Ask your designer or email hello@seldens.com with the piece you're considering.

Special orders can be cancelled within 72 hours of placing the order. After that the piece is in production with the manufacturer and the order is final. In-stock pieces can be returned or exchanged within 14 days — see the Returns tab.
