“I like to ask questions pertaining to lifestyle,” Karen says. “What inspires them, what feelings do they want to create and invoke.” From color palette to overall ambiance in a space, Karen enjoys the challenge of bringing a client's energy to life. “Creating unique spaces that evoke a feeling or experience that can last a lifetime” is what she enjoys most about interior design.

With over 10 years working in the high-end retail industry, Karen still finds joy and wonder in getting to come to work every day with the opportunity to create something completely new. “I find inspiration from nature and travel,” she shares. “From the canals and flower markets of Amsterdam to the northwest mountains and bodies of water surrounding me.” She brings a unique open and eclectic view to the team and her clients.

In her downtime you can find Karen working with her hands in other realms - she spends a lot of time working with mixed mediums, fused glass, painting and ceramics.
