While a relatively recent addition to the Seldens team, Chris brings more than 17 years of interior decorating experience with her. The key to a successful project, she says, is to approach it with intention. “I ask a lot of questions and listen, listen, listen. If a client isn’t sure what they will like, I patiently walk them through ideas, styles and colors to find out what they really love.”

Chris derives her design inspiration from multiple sources, but her clients are by far the most important factor. “I really listen to my clients,” she says. “I always work to include what they love — for example, if they love the outdoors — I find ways through color, texture and design to bring that into their space. I really enjoy seeing the completed project and a happy face on my clients.”

In her spare time, Chris enjoys cooking and baking. She also loves to be outdoors and always makes time for activities ranging from hiking to walking her dog.
