Karen’s process begins with listening. She prioritizes in-home visits to gain a deeper understanding of the client’s space, lifestyle, and goals, helping to translate their ideas into beautiful, livable interiors. 

“As an interior designer, it’s my responsibility to be truthful and honest with each client and establish realistic expectations as well as push and challenge them in directions they may not have thought of, to achieve the overall desired design concept and look.”

Her inspiration comes from everywhere, at any given time. Having started her career with a high-end residential design firm in the Bay Area, Karen developed a strong foundation in one-on-one client relationships, which continues to shape her philosophy today: creating spaces that are not only stylish but also deeply personal.
