Delivery and Assembly Services within our Standard Service Area (Washington State)

When purchasing the finest home furnishings, you deserve the best delivery experience. Selden’s white glove delivery service naturally reflects the great care and respect that we have for your purchase and your home. Our experienced professionals will have unpacked and inspected each item before your delivery. Our delivery professionals will carefully bring all your items into your home and set it up or place it in your room of choice. If some items need to be moved before we can bring your new items in, we will help move those items.

Scheduling Your Delivery

Once your order is ready for delivery, our team will be in touch to schedule your delivery and let you know what to expect on delivery day. This is the time to discuss any special accommodations that need to be made to ensure we can safely deliver your item(s) and allocate enough time. This includes, but is not limited to, the need for small trucks to navigate narrow roads and driveways, restricted delivery time frames due to local ordinances, gated entry access, proof of insurance for high rise and condominium buildings, multiple flights of stairs and service elevator reservations. 

The Day of Delivery

Upon arrival one of our delivery professionals will knock on the door and introduce himself. If you can please show him where you would like your item(s) setup he will verify there is enough room to make a clean delivery or determine if they need to move a few items out of harms way. 

Once the path and room(s) are clear the team will start to bring your items in and set them up in your room of choice. They will un-wrap and wipe everything down for you to inspect.

Some things you can expect:

  • All merchandise previously inspected at the warehouse
  • Beds are set up in your home
  • Chair glides are installed
  • Drawers adjusted
  • All merchandise leveled
  • Table leaves pre-fitted
  • We will move existing piece(s) to make room for your new items
  • Removal of all packing materials
  • We will deliver artwork and mirrors but request that you have them professionally hung.

 

To provide exceptional service, we kindly request your cooperation with the following guidelines: 

Deliveries

Please ensure all balances are paid in full when scheduling delivery. As precise timing is difficult to predict due to routing, traffic, and other factors, please be available throughout the day of the scheduled delivery. In case of emergencies or if you cannot be present, inform our delivery department at 253-620-6367.

Pick-Ups

Please notify us at least 24 hours before picking up your merchandise, as the items need to be unboxed, assembled, and inspected. Bring tie-downs and blankets to secure your items, as we are not responsible for tying down products. Call us at 253-620-6367 to schedule your pick-up.                   

Returns and Exchanges on Stocked Merchandise

You may return products in their original condition within 14 days. Delivery charges are non-refundable. Products will require a 50% deposit before the order can be placed. 

Returns and Exchanges on Custom Order Products

All special ordered products will require a 50% deposit before the order can be placed.

A 72-hour cancellation window is provided after the sales order is submitted and deposits collected.

No cancellations are accepted after 72 hours if the product has been ordered. The client remains responsible for the ordered product(s) and all associated balances owed. Installed and custom fabricated merchandise (including COM applications) are non-returnable. Examples include floor coverings, draperies, top-of-bed items, cut yardage, etc.

Clearance Products

Final Sale, As Is, and all Clearance merchandise are non-returnable. 

5yr Accident Protection Plan

We suggest adding a 5yr Risk protection plan to help insure your investment against accidents. A 5yr risk protection plan can be added to new orders placed up until the date of delivery. For more information, please ask your designer. 

Warranties and Service Information

Repairs for defects in workmanship and/or materials will be made without charge within the first year for items covered under vendor’s warranty. After the first year, service will be billed to the owner at the prevailing rate.

Warranty periods will vary depending on materials and collections. For more information, please refer to the manufacture’s website.

Repairs or replacements for defects in workmanship and/or materials, excluding fabric, will be made at no charge to the original purchaser during the first year of the warranty period.
